The Eco H2 Le Mans project involves the installation of a first green hydrogen production site using the agricultural biomass from local Sarthe distribution networks. The by-produced CO2 will be recovered for use in the agri-food industry. The first stage of the production process consists of preparing the biomass through drying and granulometry. The production of syngas will be achieved through a pyro-gasification process. After an initial prototyping stage, the demonstrator will be launched to scale in June 2022, associated with a fuelling station.
