The SPHHER project aims to deploy and test a hybrid electricity production system composed of a new-generation tidal turbine, solar panels and an energy storage system. The turbine generates electricity 18 to 20 hours a day, with a maximum output of 20 kWh, for self-consumption and injection into the grid. It is coupled to solar panels and a storage cabinet for connection to the national electricity grid.
The project is already operational in the Etel River for self-consumption and injection into the grid. It has been certified by the Pôle Mer Atlantic competitiveness cluster and is supported by the Bretagne Regional Council (ERDF).
